The Time Will Come (4)

"The Time Will Come"  is a weekly feature hosted by Jodie from Books for Company.
Each Thursday, we share a book that might be sitting unread on our shelves for now, but we do intend to get to!
(Thanks go to Jennifer @ It's Fay, Not Fey! for the graphic!)

My favorite thing about Alyson Noël's Evermore had to have been
Ever's little sister Riley.  So when I saw this book sitting on the shelves at the bookstore, I was happily surprised! Riley was getting her own spin-off series! I had no idea! My only worry was that I might need to be current with The Immortals series from which it originates.  I guess that's not the case, but I never managed to get around to reading this! Add this to my growing list of books-that-I-really-have-to-read-soon-but-I-don't-know-when!

Wanna help me along? If you've read this and loved it, please let me know! A girl needs a little push sometimes....

  1. I got Shimmer the other day for review and I haven't ever been sure about this series. I liked Evermore series although it is sometimes frustrating. Will be giving this series a go though =)

  2. You know I haven't had the chance to read any of Alyson Noel's books. I know they're really popular its just that I've never decided to pick one up. Do you recommend her series?

Radiance sounds very interesting, but like you said, I'd be nervous that I'd need to have read the first series alreay to really enjoy it. I just might have to add all of them to my TBR pile!

Here's my own "The Time Will Come"

Kristan @ Lost Amongst the Shelve

  3. @Kristan I've only read the first book in main series, Evermore. I think that's sufficient if you read that book and then start into the Riley series. The author herself assured me that you don't have to read them all. But I think you need to read the one book to be familiar with Riley.

  4. Hi, visiting your blog via The Time Will Come, new follower! I haven't read that book but like the sound of it and it has a beautiful cover! I have so many books that I need to read now if I had the time!
