I'm Dawn, and I love to read!
As the daughter of a librarian, reading is something I was taught to do and love from a young age. I can't remember my life before reading, and I can't imagine my life without reading!
I read a lot of kids fiction and young adult fiction. I also read adult novels and some non-fiction. Fiction genres I enjoy include fantasy, mystery, adventure, and sci-fi. Non-fiction genres I tend to read are biography, history, and religion.
I'm totally new to the world of blogging. I've thought about starting a blog for a long time, but until now, I've hesitated to do so. I guess I had (and still have!) serious doubts about there being an audience who would care to read my blog. I've decided to try it, though. And I'm doing this for me. If others find something valuable here, that's great! But, first and foremost, I'm going to enjoy writing about books for the sake of nurturing my own love of the written word.
I'm open to comments, suggestions, questions, and requests. So, dear Reader, if you are out there, please let me know how I'm doing.
